Abele Desk Lamp by Gianfranco Frattini for Luci. Gianfranco Frattini May 15, 1926 – April 6, 2004 was an Italian architect and designer. He is a member of the generation that created the Italian design movement in the late 1950s through the 1960s.

Designed in the late 50s by Gianfranco Frattini as a floortoceiling central bookcase, Albero was created for use in interior settings rather than for mass production.The Albero bookcase is formally associated with the NeoLiberty period and, in terms of product type, with the floortoceiling bookcase systems that were popular throughout the 1950s and 60s.
